Retour d’expérience décevant sur Adobe Premiere Rush

New Here ,

Bonjour Franck,

Thanks for the note. I'm not sure about your system setup. That can matter a lot. What are your specs? The newer Ultra processors are not working well with Rush yet.

As far as the media goes, almost all of it is highly compressed, and therefore, more complex to work with. I process all LongGOP footage into ProRes LT or ProRes Proxy for ease of use and smoother operation. More on that in a bit.

Bonjour Franck,

Though computers and phones are more powerful, device manufacturers like GoPro, Sony, and especially DJI, jam more and more data into even more highly compressed files. Computer power can't keep up with the demands these formats (HEVC, H.264) require. As a video editor, you have to meet the software halfway by developing a bullet proof workflow. I feel that Rush should do this automatically, but it won't just yet.

You now know my secret. Transcode the media for much smoother operation. You can use freeware "Shutter Encoder" to handle all that. I use that and never have the problems you mention.

As far as what Adobe is working on, I can't really announce as I am not on the product team and they usually don't share future plans. Apologies for that.

Sorry for your frustration.

Merci,
Kevin
