Reverse Video option was removed

Community Beginner ,
Apr 29, 2024 Apr 29, 2024

Why did the Adobe team remove the REVERSE VIDEO feature from Premier Rush?  Rush is a paid program and I was a frequent user of the video reversing feature.  Now I am left with no option for reversing since this feature was also removed from Express.

Please bring it back.

Hi @Fulbio Parodi,

I read your note. Thank you for the feature request. As to it missing from Express, that is odd. It used to be there. It looks like it is missing from the site now.

Another user found a link that does work. Try this: https://express.adobe.com/tools/reverse-video

Please upvote this bug in the meantime: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-express-bugs/reverse-video/idc-p/14572637#M15978.

Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi,

This is a user to user forum, so that question probably won't be answered. This is a feature request. You might check Project Violet out if you have an iOS device. It's a new mobile app that has the feature you are looking for.

Notes from the app say, "We've added the ability to apply speed changes and reverse effects to your overlay clips for more dynamic editing." I hope that information helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

Why just not include that reverse functionality again? If it was there why remove it, and skip the online tool thats not working.

Reverse speed was always a feature request, but it was never released, @Gustav Sandstedt. Sorry about that. Adobe Express's quick actions' reverse speed function is no longer available, which was the workaround.

Cheers,
Kevin

Sad, reverse fuctionality dosent seams like brain surgery as theres already an Adobe online version of that dosent work anymore. Should be standard functionality.

Well, @Gustav Sandstedt,

I am not a developer, so I can't respond. I'm just the support person who happens to be a Rush user. I do understand the urgency of your request, though.

Cheers,
Kevin

Why?

Why take away such a primary, primordial option?

Would you buy a car without reverse gear? Remember: "The right to come and go."
