Rush crashes every time

I'm using an Acer Predator Triton 500 SE and every time I use Rush it crashes at some point.  Every, Single. Time.  No rhyme or reason to the issue.  I unselected the pre render as suggested but crashes still occur.  20+ mins worth of 4k gopro footage imported into the sequence.  I haven't been able to locate a solution for this through gopro or adobe so far...

Sorry about the crash. Do you see any error codes or messages? Does it happen with a specific file or project? Could you try resetting preferences?
