Rush is Missing These Few Tools

After using Rush for a little over two weeks now, I have grown to love and hate it. I love the idea that you can hop into a more beginner friendly program for simple and small video edits. Going through Premier Pro can prove to be more complicated sometimes than the task at hand. However, there a basic tools that Rush needs before it can be 100% useful. I find myself still taking the video into Premier Pro or After Effects to complete the project... which is counterintuitive.

1. Copy & Paste. Many of others have also suggested that this function be implemented. Copy & paste from one open Rush project to another.

2. Shapes. Simply geometrical shapes that can be edited and have transitions applied to them.

3. Text. Text that doesn't come from a preset title block.

4. Resizing a video. The transform tool within Rush now is very limiting and won't allow people to go from their phone or camera resolution to a resolution suitable for Instagram.

I imagine that this program was designed to create things to post to social media on the fly and quickly. All of the above features, I believe, are necessary for that. Otherwise, the program is incomplete and relies on other Adobe programs or 3rd part programs to make a fullfiling video.

I agree...  this is frustrating... I bought an iPad to use Adobe apps.  If I had known this was so simplistic, I would have saved up for a MacBook and used Premiere...
