Has anybody found a fix for this problem? I have more than enough RAM to handle the software, I bought a brand new ASUS ROG G531GT 16GB laptop and I cant seem to open my files for editing.

As stated in the title, Rush takes forever to access my video files from my external hard drive. Once I direct it to the right file location the screen sits blank for 10-15 minutes before it shows me the files and after I DO select one it takes several more minutes to import and the software boggs WAY down.

I've followed a tutorial to make sure Rush is accessing my Accelerated GPU but still no change.

I choose to beleive Adobe wouldt have released such a terrible software and its got to be something on my end.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

You say your media is on an external drive. What happens if you move the media to your laptop's hard drive?
