Stuck on the “preparing media” step

I am using the free version of rush on my Apple iPad and when I try to download a video to edit the "preparing media" step never moves forward. I have tried logging out and back in and have even made a new account. From doing all this I have only gotten 1 video downloaded and no more have gotten downloaded. Please can I have some advice on how to move forward from this step.

Can you tell us a little more about the videos you're trying to use in the project?  What are their sizes (filesize), and is there anything unusual about the format?
