Trying out premier rush for the first time and it is garbage. Constant crashes with no error codes. Tried to export a video and it tells me i need an HVEC codec which comes with creative cloud (which i have) then locks up. Did adobe bother to finish this before they released it?!!!
Mod note: Title was changed to reflect the issue.
Hi https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/share.html!
Sorry to hear that. Are you on the trial version? Have you tried exporting through another preset?
Let us know.
Thanks,
KArtika

I have cc photography adition and i received an email that said premier rish was part of it so as far as im concerned it should not be the trial addition. No matter what o try i get the same hvec error.

I purchased Premier Pro and saw their add for Premiere Rush...so I decided to download it (anything to supplement premier pro's incompetence). Found out Premier Rush is just as jacked up as Premier Pro. If I can "crash" through to the end of this project I'm working on, I promise I will leave premier alone...forever!

Hi,
This is a legacy post.
You'll get this warning if you don't have a premium subscription. FYI, the "Creative Cloud Photography Plan" does not provide a premium subscription to Rush. You get the "Starter" version of Rush. Which plan do you have?
Thanks,
Kevin

What warning? I didn't state that I get any warnings (which would be nice if I did). I stated that the app constantly crashes and it has taken me 3 times longer to get through a project than if I had done it manually.

You're not getting the same HEVC warning as the OP? I see. If the app is constantly crashing, something has gone wrong. As a sanity check for you, I am operating Rush without issues on Mac and PC and my iPhone. I shoot on an iPhone X. FYI: devices listed in system requirements work the best and are the most reliable in a Rush workflow. I have a few troubleshooting questions that may help the community solve your problem.
Let us know more details. I hope we can help you get back to working on your projects without incident ASAP.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @brooksf9381715,
Sorry. The Photography Plan doesn't offer a premium subscription to Rush. It is the "Starter" (trial) version. Sorry for the confusion. Many people are confused about the same thing. On behalf of Adobe, I apologize for the misunderstanding. I hope that the team can make some adjustments to prevent this misunderstanding in the future.
Thanks,
Kevin

I have been using Rush for quick video productions for about a year and have full adobe suite subscription. I just recently ran into this alert needed the
"HEVC codec" - as part of the creative suite (again, I have a fully paid up creative suite) running on the newest Mac OS and video shot on latest iphone... this is the only place I have found mentioning this issue, but do not see a resolve

Not sure, MrHaga. Please work with our video specialists one-on-one here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html. In the chat pod in the lower right, once you are connected to an agent, ask for the video queue. They should be able to troubleshoot.
Thanks,
Kevin

WIN11 runs IPhone video HEVC (.mov) files fine. PSE 2020 does not saying my system does not have a proper codec. I have followed the Adobe suggestins (install/reinstall HVEC extensions, clear cache, restart system, etc. Again, WIN11 views the files/videos fine - only PSE 2020 refuses to accept the HVEC movies - the HEIF pictures are fine.

PSE? Do you mean Premiere Elements? This is the Rush forum. Shall I move your post?
Thanks,
Kevin
