Uploading photos and videos

How do I upload new video or photos from my phone for a new project? When I select 'create a new project' it only allows me to go to the photos and videos that I had previously selected for other , not to choose more from my phone.  I don't want to give rush, access to all the data on my phone just the videos and photos that I select.

If you've set the permissions for Premiere Rush to not allow access, then you could copy your photos and/or videos to a folder on your desktop and use the desktop version of Premiere Rush to import them.
