Very Slow Exporting on Desktop

For the past week or two, exporting videos has been taking a ridiculous amount of time. 3-4 minute videos are taking 25 minutes to export. Similiar size videos used to take 3-5 minutes - if that. I'm editing on desktop. Rush is up to date - I even reinstalled. My computer is updated. My WiFi is fine for every other device. Is there a known issue with the current version? Should I rollback?

Hi @default60dd39gu41l1,

Thanks for the question. It sounds like your GPU isn't being activated. Have you installed the latest GPU drivers? Do you have an Intel CPU/iGPU? There is also an issue with those on the Premiere Pro side, but it could be affecting your system too. Check out the workaround. I hope the info helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks. My GPU is NVIDIA. I checked and noticed there was in fact an update. I'm in the process of doing that and will let you know if that did the trick.

I updated my nvdia, rebooted, and also reset Rush settings, and still showing that it will take 25 mins to export a 5 min video.

I did some additional checking. I don't think that workaround applies to me because I'm actually not running that version of Windows. My GPU is GeForce RTX 3060 (just updated today) and Intel UHD Graphics. As you can see in the screenshot, the nvidia GPU is engaged in the export, but it also looks like the intel on is also engaged. I'm not a super technical user - all I know is that it's still showing 18 minutes to export a 5 minute video which is way longer than it used to take. Should I revert to an older version of Rush? Is that still an option? I've done that in the past, but haven't had to do so for quite some time.

Hey @default60dd39gu41l1,

If this GPU driver isn't working well, I would try performing a clean installation of the driver. Install the studio driver, not the game-ready one, and see if that helps.

Thanks,
Kevin
