Why does premier rush keep corrupting my imported files?

Almost everytime i import video/ audio files, premier rush corrupts th file. It's either the video that gets glitchy, or the sound that gets "compressed". 

If anyone knows why this is happening and how to fix it, please comment here. Thanks!
