Hello,

Everytime I attempt to export a 4K video in Premiere Rush on my Iphone 11 pro, the app crashes.  Occassionally the app with crash while I'm editing but for the most part the problem is happening when I try and export my edit to any of the 4K options.  It seems to me like on an iPhone 11 Pro, I should be able to film, edit and export.  I'd like to keep using Rush becaue I like the workflow and I'm a big adobe creative cloud fan, but I need this fixed.

Please help.  Thanks,

Jeremy

Hey Jeremy!

Yikes! I'm very sorry about that. We would need more information about the issue.

  • What type of media files are you working with?
  • Have you already tried exporting through other presets?
  • Do you have any effects and texts added to the clips?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Kartika

Hi Kartika,

I'm working with 4k, 30fps iphone 11 pro clips.  Yes I've tried other 4K presets.  All seem to crash the app.  i'm not able to export any of the presets while working with 4K video. The only effects I have are a simple title overlay at the beginning and the end of the video.

Thanks

Jeremy

Thanks for the information. We can try a few things:

Hard Reset Your iPhone:
• Press and release the Volume Up button quickly.
• Press and release the Volume Down button quickly.
• Press and hold the Side button for a few seconds until you see the Apple logo.
1. Close all apps that are in the backend
2. Set export quality to 1080p 30 fps
3. Turn on "Airplane Mode" and set the phone to "Do Not Disturb."
4. Duplicate project > Attempt to export in a new project
5. Disable tracks to identify if there's a specific clip/asset that is causing the issue
6. Sync project to another device and export it from there.

Let us know how it goes.

Kartika
