Adobe Rush: MP4 Files Lose Sync After Importing

Hi all,

Encountering some problems when producing vidoes with Adobe Rush. I have files in AVI format (which isn't supported) and have converted them using VLC, into MP4 files. They seem to play fine until I import them into Rush.

Once imported, the audio starts from the beginning, as normal, but the video cuts off the first and last few seconds leaving the whole video out of sync, with some important content missing.

Anyone have an idea of a solution?

Hi!

If the file is playing in sync with other players, Rush should playback the file in sync.

I typically recommend https://handbrake.fr/ to transcode files.

If you're up for sharing the file with me, I'd be happy to review it to see if we can figure out the issue.

Thanks,

Peter
