There have been a couple of times that I have added a video and every time that I add an audio track, the preview of the audio comes out high pitched and chock full of static. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Hi user3191902

Sorry that you're having trouble with audio clips in Rush. Can you please answer the following

  1. What device/computer and iOS/OS are you editing on?
  2. What format of audio clip do you have? mp3, wave?
  3. Do you hear the static in the exported file?

Thanks in advance foe the info.

Best,

PG

It works on my iOS device, an iPhone 7, but it does not work on my Dell

Inspiron 7378 running the latest update of Windows

It doesn't matter the file type, but I have tried WAV and MP3

This is during the editing of the footage, but it sounds high pitched and

has every other frame of silence, but the waveform is a solid block

Hi Evan,

Sorry for the delay. Can you try going here on your PC

Please do the following

1. Quit Rush

2. Go here:

\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common

3. Delete both the Media Cache Files and Media Cache folders

4. Relaunch Rush

Any better?

Hi Evan,

Would you be willing to share the soundtrack? I'd like to see if I can reproduce the issue myself. Can you also try creating a local project without sync turned on. Does the problem still persist?

Thanks,

PG

This is the file that I have been using, although it seems to be coming

from any audio file I try to use, and some video footage, especially

footage shot on my phone then downloaded on my computer. And I tried the

local/no cloud syncing thing and nothing changed
