Choppy playback after importing audio files in the Premiere Rush

Ive added an audio voice track to a video, and it's super choppy. The original audio I added has no issues, but as soon as I add it into the app it cuts parts of the message out. I've tried deleting and readding, same issue. Help!

• What are the specifications of your device?
• What kind of files are you trying to import?
• Did you experience the same behavior with any other file?

You may try clearing the cache files: Edit > Preferences > Clear Cache.
