Hi.

I just downloaded Premiere Rush, but have been having some problems when I tranfer video files from my computer to the software. When I play the video on the timeline, the footage goes black for about half a second and I can't figure out why. Is it to do with the file I'm transfering? Does my bad internet connection play a part in this? Is it to do with the type of computer I'm using? Is it the software? I'm at a loss.

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me.

My system specifications is OS, I'm using premiere rush 1.5.54 (build 70),
the video file I'm trying to edit is an mp4 and I filmed it on my phone.

I hope this helps.

Okay, I've been doing some research of my own and I think I've now got an
idea of what the problem is. For Premiere Rush, it's recommended that you
have an intel core i5, i7 or equivalent, whereas I have an i3. It also
requires over 8GB of hard-disk space, whereas I have 7.89GB available on my
RAM. Given these factors, that may explain why the software isn't working
properly.
