Hi there, I'm wanting to eliminate the black bars from a video when I shot it in 9:16 on my phone. It looks unprofessional and I want to use the footage as a lead magnet videot training for my e-commerce website.

Can someone please advise how I can get rid of these black bars? I changed the aspect ratio to 1:1 and 4:3 and still have the same problem.

Please help!

Hi Jayde!

Sorry for the trouble. Can you share the following information?

  • Which device are you using?
  • Are you seeing the same issue during playback?
  • Have you tried exporting through another preset?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

I recorded on an android phone, using Premiere Rush on my PC.

During playback outside Rush I see the black bars, I don't while editing.

I tried exporting using 1:1, 4:3, basically all of them and can't get rid of them.
