Program shows not responding pop-up

I have updated my program to version 1.5.44 on my Acer Aspire 3 Windows 10 laptop.

Since the update, the program is extemely slow and and then a pop-up message comes up "not responding" (in picture below)Screenshot (25).png

Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions?

 

Would appreciate an urgent response.
