I am wondering: how do you speed up video clips in Premiere Rush as you would do in Premiere Pro?

This is not possible in Premiere Rush currently, but is high on the list of features that users expect us to see in Rush.

Hi, Thanks for clearing that up. I was banging my head thinking it was hidden in some menu but couldn't find it....  DEFO need this feature for it to be usable for anything I do.

Right?! And I just saw an ad for rush on Instagram where the clip had all sorts of crazy speed changes. It’s ridiculous how long it’s taking adobe to implement this.

I don’t really want to rush you with this but today‘s download of Rush seems a bit too early as it lacks some basic functions. Like this one...

It doesn’t help in locking me into the whole Premiere ecosystem with USD 240 per year per user fees.

So this response was in November. What priority list are you Referencing? We pay a lot of money for the suite. Slo/fast and reverse speed should be available for the crazy price tag of your subscription.

I think this is an essential basic feature that a video editor like this needs. Just because that is the concept of Premiere Rush: a basic editing experience. Like rotating an image would be a basic editing feature in a basic photo editor app. It seems a bit hasty or even sloppy, to publish this app while the feature is not built yet.

Also reversing a piece of footage still seems to be missing.

These are the pure basics which would be the promise of this app. So what is the app worth without those?

Besides that, I'm happy this app is added to the Adobe suite, having a simple editor available within the Adobe workflow. I just hope these basic features will be available soon, so you can actually use the app. If it only works half, you'd of course keep looking for alternatives that do work completely..

It is not intuitive and you have to touch the screen in just the right spot, but then you can adjust the playback speed by extending or shortening the clip.  It is not exact, but can be done.  

Found it by accident.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, that method seems to be trimming the clip, intsead of speeding up/slowing down the clip.

Hi I'm looking to this same feature I see that people have been Asking since November 2018 Now I have to bring this into I Movie to speed ramp 1 clip wish this feature was availble now

Yes, this is a huge priority for me too!!! I love the ease of Rush, but a few more basic features are essential. Please raise on the priority list Adobe! PLEASE and thank you!
