Video in Picture magnifies in During Playback

I've Googled and cannot find the answer for the life of me. I'm working on a project and once I press play, the video zooms in towards the top left of the video (but remains in the ratio I put it at). When I scrub through, it goes from the correct ratio to the zoomed ratio. Anyone have a solution to this?

I'm using an Apple MacBook Pro, 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3;

Premiere Rush is Version 1.5.20 (Build 571);

Screen recording was done on my ASUS ROG 2 Phone, video resolution at 2340x1080

Het Merrick!

This looks weird. We can get this checked. Please provide more information to understand the issue better.

  • Could you confirm if it's still zoomed-in after exporting?
  • Does it happen with a specific file?

Ideally, screen recording footage has a variable frame rate that may cause some issues. I hope this helps: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-issues-with-screen-recorded-footage-in-premiere-pro/...

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Kartika
