I have section of a chapter from FrameMaker that does not convert over to RoboHelp properly. The text and images in this section show up inside of rectangular boxes with diagonal lines. When I compile the help menu, this section appears skewed with the images resized oddly and larges spaces where they don't belong. I'm assuming these boxes with the diagonal lines mean something obvious and am hoping someone can share what error it might indicate?
I thought that maybe there was some problem in the structure of the FM template that is the source, but it appears fine. Oddly, all the other sections in the same chapter are authored identically and output without a problem.
Thanks in advance,
Douglas
Hi,
The diagonal lines are probably conditional build tags. Do you have conditional tags in FrameMaker? If so, the conditional tag in RH is also conditional in FM. For your other problem Jeff may have some more ideas. Also try searching the forum for framemaker and image problems. There have been a couple of posts on this subject in the last few months.

@Willam - Me, more ideas? I didn't even realize the OP had more than one issue! Good idea with the CBTs though ;>)

Good call, Willam. I am just converting the FM docs for RH output and didn't author them. It didn't occur to me that it might be conditional text, but that is exactly what it is. Thanks for savign me tons of time troubleshooting.
As for the images, that is my big problem. I combed through every post on the subject and found nothing that helped me. Everyone's problem seemed unique and esoteric, but I think what I was asking in my other post regarding EDD rules has some wide ranging value.
