Hi there

When you use a typical popup, you are simply presenting a different topic. The background color for the topic is determined by the CSS associated with the topic you are popping up.

Or... it occurs to me that you may be talking about the actual link that is clicked to present the popup. And in that case, you would also need to edit the CSS for the topic presenting the link.
