Breadcrumbs navigating to TOC not Topics

Is it possible to have the navigation of breadcrumbs (when clicked) go to the correct location in the TOC?

At the moment it is navigating to the first Topic in that TOC level.

For example: (using the image below) if I click say Student Records breadcrumb, it is taking me to the first topic in the Student Records structure

I want it to go to the TOC instead FOR that Student Records level (below)

By my knowledge, breadcrumbs always point to a topic, never to a TOC

page. And pointing to a specific page in the toc is hell in the HTML5

output: I've not found a good way to get the id of the TOC page to show

in HTML5
