Dear RH-cousers,
I've performed generating output (resposive HTML) and publishing it with the Output tab.
And I now want to see the Publish Log file and cannot find it.
The rigth -click menu of the preset opens the publish log file in RH but it's empty. I copy the file path (still with the rigth -click menu of the preset) -- /RHTMP/Material Management v. 2.ehtml -- But there is no such a file on my computer
Please help locate it. I was able to locate and open the file with some previous RH version back in April. It started with "Initializing publishing to Profi..." words
RH Version 2022.2.22

It might be a hidden one in your C:\users\<user_name>\AppData\ folders

@Jeff_Coatsworth is correct. I located this note.
Log files are kept in C:\Users\<user-name>\AppData\Local\Temp\RHTMP folder. Also after generating an output you can click view log (in context menu of preset) to view the file in RoboHelp.

Jeff, Peter, thank you for your trplies. But as I said, "The rigth -click menu of the preset opens the publish log file in RH but it's empty.
I copy the file path (still with the rigth -click menu of the preset) -- /RHTMP/Material Management v. 2.ehtml -- But there is no such a file on my computer"
I guess it's either en error on my environment, or a known issue for the version. Because, as I said, back in April 2023 I was able to lokate and open and read the file

You seem to be saying if you try to access it from RoboHelp you find an empty file.
Have you tried using explorer to locate it following the path suggested? Whilst logically it should be the same, maybe there's an issue from RoboHelp itself.
Are you getting an error when you publish? I'm not sure if RoboHelp always creates a log file or only when there is an issue.
What is the underlying problem making you want to access the log?

Hi Peter,
I started searching for the logs when I got the Failed to publish message. Finally I got the "Successfully published" status but still one file didn't appear on the server. So, during this process I was searching for the log.
Yes, there is no log file even in the File browser

If it happens again, I think the message or something other than the menu can be left clicked. Try that if it happens again.

hi all, wanted to share updates. No issues with accessing the publish log files from the rigth-click menu of the preset in version 2022.3.93. So, may be the way-out is to upgrade to the latest version.....
