Changing directory organization

New Here ,
Mar 16, 2009 Mar 16, 2009
Hello,

By default, RoboHelp 8 places all files related to a topic in a directory whose name is teh same as the topic. For example, if I have 5 topics, I wil get 5 directories :
Topic 1 containing topic1.htm
...
Topic 5 containing topic5.htm

Would it be possible to get all main htm pages (topic1.htm, topic2.htm...etc) under a same root (in the same directory) ?

Tanks for your answers

Daniel

I have never seen RH create folders for new topics. How are you creating topics?

Hello Peter,

Sorry, i forgot to precise that my online help is based on the integration of a FrameMaker book. After generation of the help, each chapter of my book are contained in a separate folder.

That's different. If it can be changed, it will be controlled by the dialog when you import / add the FM document and I am not familiar with that.

If you are just doing a one off import, you could change it in RH.
