CHM files do not display properly in Windows 8. Does anyone know why this occurs? Is there a workaround for this issue?
When the IE8 browser launches on Windows 7, it shows “It seems javascript is disabled in your browser, please enable it and reload again, or click here to view without javascript”. There is also a yellow bar above that message. I can click the yellow bar to “Allow blocked content” and then everything works fine.
In IE9 on Windows 8, I get the same javascript warning, but no yellow bar. Depending on how I proceed, I can usually see the Table of Contents control in the left pane, but nothing appears in the right pane.

Are you sure you are using CHM? From what you have described, I might expect something browser based. (WebHelp, FlashHelp, Browser Based AIR Help).
