Conditionalizing a Topic Title in the TOC

Explorer ,
Dec 18, 2007 Dec 18, 2007
I am using RH 6.0, and want to conditionalize the way a topic title is displayed in the TOC. For example, I want to display "Introduction to Product A" or "Introduction to Product B" in the TOC.

(I have no problem conditionalizing the title in the actual topic, only the way the topic title is displayed in the TOC.)

Does anyone know how this can be done?

Thanks

Hi rhxpt and welcome to our community

You should be able to create two TOC entries that read the way you want. Then place conditions on each so that one or the other is excluded.

Cheers... Rick

Thanks, Rick. This works for the topics, but now what do I do for books?

Do I have to duplicate all the topics, and have a conditionalized book for each?
Book A and underneath all its conditionalized topics
Book B and underneath all its conditionalized topics

Thanks,
Jackie
