Content categories with HTML5

Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

I'm going to update to RH10 to use HTML5 features.

But as I can see there is no content categories for this layout.

Do I understand correctly, that I should create different layouts (actually one format with different names) and assign content categories to them to simulate the behavior of RH9?

Check the help. I don't think you can use categories with HTML5 outputs.

Yes, I can't find how to use content categories with HTML5. I will play with screen profiles and conditional build expressions though.
