Converting RH9 projects to RH11

New Here ,
Apr 04, 2014 Apr 04, 2014

I want to upgrade my RH 9 to RH 11 but before doing that want to know if the move involves any changes in the project file or for the developers in terms of coding, help linking or map IDs.

No changes for the developers in terms of calling the help, assuming you continue to generate the same type of help rather than use one of the new outputs.

What do you mean by project file? There are many files making up the project.

Thanks for your response.

By project files I meant if there will be any issues in converting my existing .xpj projects generated in RH9 to the same webhelp or MHTML .chm format but using RH11. My developers use map IDs for linking the context-sensitive help topics to the screens in the application and hence wanted to know if there would be any change in that such that they would have to rework on it.

There will be internal changes to your files but nothing should affect the output and what the developers need.
