LOL...this reminds me of Bruce Lee arguing against martial
art style purists. His fighting 'style' was no style. Instead he
used a philosophy of water. Water changes form to suit the
immediate situation (from cup to bowl to pitcher). Likewise, during
a fight, he focused on merely filling the void. "When the opponent
expand, I contract, When he contracts, I expand, And when there is
an opportunity, I do not hit--it hits all by itself."
If an immediate problem is solved by a table, I use a table.
I drive style nazis crazy with my 'water' developing style.
Consistency has its place in developing/writing, but inconsistency
is often more efficient, thus more productive. However, quoting
Bruce Lee on tool forums is not productive so thanks and
bye.
