Creating help files from PDF

I am evaluating RoboHelp as a possible way to create help files (probably will end up being .CHM files). We'd like to be able to go from the files used for our printed documentation, which are generated using LaTeX and output as PDF files. We use LaTeX to create the PDF files because there are a lot of math symbols in the docs that no other program seems to handle as well, and I don't know if RoboHelp will be able to do the job without a lot of manual cleanup--I've tried a few other programs and the results were not pretty. Anyone else had success using RoboHelp for their help files doing something similar?

Welcome to the forum.

For anything like this I would strongly recommend that you download the trial version. It is a very simple matter to create a project and import a PDF to see whether the result is what you want.
