Debug Switch for ShowHelp()

It would be useful for us if we could send a switch argument to ShowHelp() that would produce a popup with the called ID for a CSH call. That shouldn't be too hard to add in and would be extremely useful.

I assume you want this only for development. It sounds like the BugHunter tool in RoboHelp. When a context sensitive help call is made, BugHunter shows the call and the map numbers. Microsoft's Help Workshop can also do this. The caveat is that Robohelp (or Help Workshop) needs to be running when you are running the application for this to work.

Since I use WebHelp, Help Workshop will not help and I am interested in a tool that would allow us to debug the application as used.

Ah, WebHelp. I don't think BugHunter works with WebHelp either but maybe the WebHelp huys on this forum will be able to answer that. If it doesn't, you might want to make that as a feature request to Adobe.

Sorry, I should have noted we used WebHelp for a Web application in my initial post.
