Decompile generated WebHelp to source files

New Here ,
Aug 26, 2009 Aug 26, 2009

Hello, I'm new here and was hoping that someone could answer a question I have.

Is there a way to decompile the generated output in the SSL directory to the source content? Essentially removing all of the added JavaScript for the breadcrumb, related topic, etc... On more than one occassion it appears that RoboHelp has removed all of the content with the Project Manager pane and deleted the content from the project folder. Unfortunately, the lastest victim did not backup their content prior to losing all of their content. Unfortunately, if we the content from the SSL directory and try and regenerate the project, it produces two breadcrumbs, related topics, etc... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi there

Certainly there is a way to do it. But it isn't a one click operation. I've described the steps at the link below:
