Differences in files when upgrading from RoboHelp X5 to RoboHelp 7 (using Microsoft Visual Studio Source Control)

I opened my 400+ topic RoboHelp X5 project in RoboHelp 7 after I upgraded. I selected to convert the file to RoboHelp 7. Since I use Microsoft Visual Studio Source Control, I did a difference report in Beyond Compare. Virtually every file (htm, templates, TOC, etc.) had differences. All removed the old "kadov" tags, which is great, but Beyond Compare highlighted (in red) text differences for every file, but upon inspection, I couldn't find any text differences.

I checked about 20 files, and everything looks OK in the output, and I really don't want to check all 400 files.

Has anyone experienced this?

If Beyond Compare works anything like ExamDiff, even small differences in line breaks are flagged. In addition to the removal of kadov tags, you might notice that RH moved from single-line entries for every TD style to 4-6 styles per line.

Good luck,
Leon
