Different font sizes in WebHelp Pro ToC

New Here ,
Feb 27, 2012 Feb 27, 2012

Hello everyone

I was wondering if it's possible to have different font sizes for the parent & child topics in a WebHelp Pro table of contents?

For example:

Parent Topic     [12pt bold]

     Sub-Parent Topic     [10pt bold]

          Child Topic     [10pt normal]

I have been mucking about in the .skn file but I am not sure if this is a change I'd make under <subpane name="Contents"> or if it's even possible.

Thanks!

Hi tagemoff and welcome to the RH forums. Unfortunately what you want can not be achieved. The TOC font settings apply across the whole TOC.

In WebHelp (not pro) the skin of the parent is what the user sees for all the topics, unless the child project is accessed direct. So if you can get a single project to do what you want, use that skin for the parent.

Rick Stone's Skinny on Skins describes how you can have a different "hover" font but, as Colum says, otherwise it looks like you are stuck with the single font.
