The resolution depends on many factors including the screen resolution of the screen used to capture it and the compression of the file type used to save the image as.

what I am talking about is the original image resolution it self in "ppi"

Right click the image in Word and click Save As Picture.

Open the image in whatever graphics program you use or in Windows Picture Viewer. Via the Properties there you should be able to view the dimensions.

Mr Peter,

it has a problem that the images are compressed to resolution lower than the original inserted one "give it try insert a known resolution image save and close the word"

I'm not sure I understand your reply but when you insert images into Word that are larger than will fit on the page, they are automatically compressed. If you right click and select Size and Position you can restore it to 100% but you will not see all the image.
