Dropdown text not working in topic preview mode

Hi,
When viewing a topic in preview mode the dropdown text feature is not working as expected.
When I click the dropdown toggle element a new blank window is opened with the topics html as content? Feels like the javascript is missing or not running?

Sorry but that's the way it is, it will work OK in the generated output. You can report it as a bug. Not sure if there is some technical reason behind it.

@Jeff_Coatsworth It's a good description. I didn't come up with it though. Might have been Tony Self when xml was new-ish 🙂 

That's a different preview to what I was talking about though. I meant the preview within RH rather than previewing in a browser. In that Preview, in RH2019, the dropdown text works.

In RH2019 the only way to "preview" in the browser (as per the OPs video) is to "Quick Generate" which generates the full help (and the dropdowns thus work correctly as well). My license for RH2020 expired so I can't check out what I assume is new functionality in RH2020. 😞

Ah okey. The dropdown actually works in preview mode within RH, it's when I view the topic in the brower that it's not working. See the process in RH here

The View in Browser is not 100% the same as generating and viewing the generated output in a browser.

If you encounter any issues, it's best to generate and view that.
