Editing topics

Is it always necessary to have Robohelp installed on each PC involved in editing the Word topics? Put another way - Can I send the Word file to another (non-Robohelp) user for them to edit/add the topics and then bring the Word file back into Robohelp?

Welcome to the forum.

First can it be done. Don't use RH for Word anymore but take a copy and try it on another PC. I recall it tries to open RH but can eventually be forced to open.

Now should it be done. I foresee tears when they edit and mess up hidden text and all sorts. Someone will add a graphic and that should only be done using the RH menu you have in Word.

Hopefully someone with experience of trying this will come along but I personally would not risk it.
