Hi,
Dear Team,
I'm using Robohelp 2020, I need to generate a CHM Output with UTF-8 with BOM, I couldnt see any encoding dropdown in Microsoft HTML Help > Output Presets.
Is any other way to get the CHM with UTF-8 with BOM
Could you please help me resolving this issue?
Thanks and regards,
Saravanan M
Mixed language characters on different language operating systems is a complex area.
This item on my site relates to searching but it may help.
If not then I think you will need to speak to Support. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your support contact options.

The CHM is working and thier characters are looking fine only in thier native language OS Machine. For Ex: Korean characters in CHM is looking fine only in Korean OS machine and in English Machine it is not.
Our organisation's Translation vendor suggested us to to convert the encoding of the robohelp files from UTF-8 without BOM to UTF-8 with BOM.
Is there any other way to do the same for CHM?

I guess I do not need to ask why on earth you want to produce CHMs in the year 2021, right? 😉
Maybe this helps:
