ENOENT error preventing successful generation of CHM

Explorer ,
Aug 12, 2025 Aug 12, 2025

I've successfully generated a Microsoft HTML Help (CHM) file with this same project many times in the past. However, currently the error shown below is preventing this and I'm unable to interpret what corrective action needs to be taken. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thank you.

"Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, lstat 'C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\RHTMP\Microsoft HTML HelpjVPD4D\filename.chm'"

This is a Windows issue, not a RoboHelp issue. Searc ENOENT on this forum and Google for answers. If still stuck I suggest for this one you need to go to Adobe Support. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

Whilst it is not a RoboHelp issue, they may be able to help you.

If it worked in the past then you probably have run into this solution posted on another ENOENT thread -
"I ended up finding the solution. In a couple of my topics's source code, some lines had both inline style and a css class. When I removed the inline style, it generated without error. "
