Error opening Topics

New Here ,

I have just installed Robohelp 7 on my pc running Vista Ultimate with office 2007.

When ever I try and open a topic from the RoboHelp Explorer window I get the following error:

---------------------------
RoboHelp for Word
---------------------------
The RoboHelp template C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\RoboHELP.dot cannot be located.
Please re-install RoboHelp.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I have tried re-installing and adding the template to the folder specified but still get the error.

Any ideas?

Thanks
David

Welcome to the forum.

I found my template under Vista at

C:\Users\Peter\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

My templates are also located in c:\users\.... but Robohelp seems to be looking in c:\windows\system32... and I can't find any options to change this location.

I've solved the problem.

I disabled Vista's User Access Controls and re-installed Robohelp. This seemed to put all the templated in the right place.
I then had to manually copy RoboHook.wll to C:\Users\David\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP and everything seemed to work.

I've re-enabled UAC and everything seems okay at the moment.
