Please help me correct our CSS code to indent the bullets.
This is how the list looks:
* item one
* item two
This is how it should look (the bullets line up, they are not multilevel):
* item one.
* item two.
This is our CSS code. :
list-style-type: outside disc;
A friend indented them in HTML with div. But does div go in css, which has no <ul> tag?
Take a look at lists on my site. I believe it is covered there.
Thanks, Peter. I'm following your steps carefully, but the step that creates a class (.name) isn't working for me.
For example my dropdown shows other styles that have a dot before the name:
but, no .bullet_numlist
I tried saving, regenerating, restarting RH.
Peter, I can edit a current .name bullet in RH style editor. But none of the settings seem to indent the bullet set. Which setting does that?
Have you tried looking around on w3schools.com ?
Jeff, yes - but it didn't answer how to fix my css code, which doesn't have a <ul> format. What do I do with what I have?
What do you have in the HTML for the list?
What we had worked briefly, but no longer works. We did identify the issue accurately, which is better than my description, and I believe we were looking at it from the wrong angle..
"Nest a ul under an ol" (bullets under numbers.) It may be simply a multilevel method. I can either leave out those bullets or work on multilevel options.
Thank you all for your time and assistance. I really appreciate it and will get back here if needed.
