External links using mini TOC

Hi

Is it possible to copy the links from the mini TOC and use them to link to a place in a topic?

For example:

1. http://showmethedemo.com/Compass_Travel/human_resources/attendance.htm
2. In the mini TOC right click 'Unauthorized Absence'
3. Select 'Copy link address;
4. Paste the URL into a browser
5. Browser takes you to the 'Unauthorized Absence' section of the topic rather than saying it's forbidden

If you add the name of the topic between the / and # then the link should work. (Which obviously is fine for you, but not for anyone else using the help.)

I think the mini toc is generated by javascript at runtime, so perhaps it would be possible to adjust the javascript to include the file name in the code. But it might have to be done on the output file and replaced every time you generate.

Thanks for your reply.  That is helpful.  I'll email support and request a feature if support have no suggestions.  I'll come back and update this thread if I get more information.
