Hi All,
2 of my coworkers and I are currently using RoboHelp 7 to create a variety of online training courses. We are each running the same version of RoboHelp, however one of my coworkers is having trouble with the formatting of content.
When she opens an existing course, all of the initial formating is lost - fonts, header and footer formatting, etc. It looks correct in the topic, but when she converts it to WebHelp or tries to preview the topic, the formatting is gone. For example, we use HeaderFooter template that has a title in a particular font with an underline - the underline is a blue line in the form of a .gif. When she compiles the file, the .gif looks like a rectangle, instead of a blue line.
Also, she loses all formatting in her tables....bullets, table heading formatting.
At times, we need to update each others content, however now, if she opens someone else's file, all formatting is lost.
Is there anything that we can look into to see what might be happening here?
Thanks in advance.
Lisa

Hi Lisa
I believe the usual suspect here would be to ensure the CSS is working. (Assuming you are using CSS to style your topics)
You mention two authors working on the same project. Is source control in use here?

Hi Rick,
Thanks for the speedy reply...
We've looked at the style sheet and while it appears to work properly in the authoring tool, when we attempt to preview or compile the formatting is lost. For example, The HeaderFooter.htt should appear as Blue Text with a .gif underline. In preview mode, the text is black and the graphic automatically has a border around it. If fact, all graphics inserted have the border automatically added when compiled.
Also, there is an issue with tables - colors are fine, but borders do not display - once again only during the compiling of the project. And if we try to add bullets in the table, RoboHelp closes automatically.
I've attached a couple of screen shots to illustrate.
Any other ideas as to where I should look? While this is the case on Danielle's system, I can open the exact same file and compile with no problems.
Thanks in advance.
BTW - the 'tables' you see in the topic below are actually graphics with a border around them.

Interestingly enough, we had to have the System Administrator set Danielle up with a new user profile. This corrected the issue - but have no idea why!
Thanks for your help though!
