Future of RobHelp for Word

New Here ,
Feb 06, 2012 Feb 06, 2012

I have been using RoboHelp for Word for a very long time. I am currently considering switching to the html version as the future of RH f. Word seems to be becoming uncertain, By the looks of things, Adobe aren't adding any new features and are just carrying it along from release to release.

Does anybody know any more details about Adobe's policy here? Are there any recommendations from Adobe as to which version of RH to use?

Well spotted.

No one here can tell you Adobe's future policy as that is a closely guarded secret.

As to recommendations, unless you are needing to create WinHelp, RoboHelp HTML offers many more features and has an editor that is easy to adapt to for Word users. Sure there is a learning curve but there's plenty of help here and via courses.

You already have RoboHelp HTML on your machine so play around with a new project or use one of the samples. Click Open on the RoboHelp Starter page and then click Samples in the ribbon on the left.
