Generating Printed Documentation in RH6

Explorer ,
Jul 16, 2007 Jul 16, 2007
Having just upgraded from RH2002 to RH6, I find that generating printed documentation has completely changed. In the old version of RH I could decide whether I wanted a table of contents or index. Now it seems RH decides it knows best and insists I must have both. Have I just misunderstood or is this really the situation?

TIA

I think it is the third page of the wizard that list what goes in the document. TOC and index are there and you can delete them.

There's a topic on printed documentation on my site.

The third page of the wizard shown on your web site is completely different from the one I'm seeing. This must be because you are referring to HTML help, not winHelp.

I'd really like to see the information that snippet 16 used to refer to.

Sorry. I clicked the link to the post in an email and didn't spot the category was RoboHelp for Word. The Snippet was about inability to create a printed document rather than being able to create one but not exclude certain contents.

I think there was a post a couple of months back similar to yours and that the consensus was you cannot prevent the index being created using RoboHelp for Word.
