Glossary Hotspot Wizard Errors

I'm having a strange issue with the Glossary Hotspot Wizard that I think shouldn't be occurring...

I’m running RoboHelp for Word 8.0 (8.0.0.203) with Word 2003 SP2 (my Output is WebHelp).

My project consists of four separate Word files, each with between 800 and 1000 topics.

I have approximately 250 glossary terms.

I’m attempting to use the Glossary Hotspot Wizard to automatically generate all of the glossary links in my project.

I made the following selections to generate the links for all of my glossary terms in all of my documents at one time.

I got the following message and I clicked Yes.

The process got through about 240 pages of the first document file and then I got this error.

It must be corrupting the document somehow, because it isn’t password protected in any way.

I thought perhaps trying to do all four document files at one time was just too much, so I changed the selection in the Documents field on the Wizard window to just one of the documents.

When I tried it again, the same thing happened.

I then tried this with only one document selected and only one glossary term selected, and the same thing happened.

Then, I tried it with only one document selected and only one glossary term selected, but this time I selected No at the “Do you also want to save changes to the document template?" message.  When I did this, it made it through the entire document and set all the links for the glossary term.

However, EVERY time it sets a link in the document file, the “Do you also want to save changes to the document template?" message displays and I have to click No on it.  It’s taking me an average of 13 minutes to get through just one file for one glossary term.  At this rate it’s going to take a LONG time to “automatically” set all of these links.

Shouldn’t it just be going through the entire set of documents (or even just one would be OK) for the entire set of glossary terms without me having to do this?

Is there something I can do so that it doesn't try to change the template every time it sets a link?

Thank you for your help with this!

I just noticed that my third graphic didn't display very well, so I'm going to try posting it again.

Hi there

The graphic looks a bit off because the forum software sizes it smaller. In my Firefox browser I am able to click the image to view at full size where it is crystal clear.

Cheers... Rick

Thanks!  That's good to know.  Any ideas on how to fix the Glossary Wizard problem?
