Glossary Restyling Script Updates for Responsive HTML5?

Community Beginner ,
May 18, 2015 May 18, 2015

It appears they forgot to update the Output Generator with Glossary Restyling to include the Responsive HTML5 layout or couldn't make it compatible. I have been searching high and low, but I can't find any information on the subject. Has anyone manually updated the script? My JS is terrible, and I would really like to use this feature when our new help system goes live.

Please see the updated script:

I didn't test the script thoroughly. I simply enabled Responsive/Multiscreen HTML5 to be chosen as well.

Did you just add the layout to the list of layout types to display?

Yes. That is precisely what I did. I didn't make any further changes to the script.

It figures that it would be so simple. I tried to do that, but I wasn't sure how to name it. I tried a few variations, but it never occurred to me to remove the 5 from the RESPONSIVEHTML.

It had me as well. You can find the available options in the documentation. In ExtendScript Toolkit help, choose RoboHelp 11 from the list.

Thanks so much for the help. I managed to customize the colors in the script to fit with our brand. We have a large software application that is highly customizable, so our users have to learn terms that might not apply in other types of applications. I was looking at having possibly to maintain separate field topics and definitions (or snippets with definitions), but this should prevent that. Thanks again!
