Help & Manual to RoboHelp

I've inherited a Help & Manual project. Does anyone know if it's possible to import it into RoboHelp or convert it somehow?

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by "Help & Manual", is that an online help creation tool?

If not please can you tell us what software tool was used to create the project?

Hi, yes it's an authoring tool produced by EC Software. Have a look here...

There is no avenue I'm aware of to import Help & Manual projects directly into RoboHelp. What you likely need to explore is taking one of its outputs. Probably CHM would be good, then decompile that and create a RoboHelp project using the extraction.

PS. I also have an AuthorIT project which may need shoehorning into RoboHelp. I guess the same goes for this as well then?

Actually, indeed it will.

The only project type I'm aware of that is capable of cleanly opening in RoboHelp is a Flare project. And even then, only after piping it through fellow Adobe Community Professional John Daigle's Flare to RoboHelp converter utility.
