Hi folks,
I have been requested by my company to put a "hamburger" style button to open the Table of Contents in the top-most landing page of my Help File.
Is this possible?
I am using RoboHelp 2020 and outputting in a Frameless output.
The whole design is based on the TOC as you have shown it only being shown when the user moves from the home page(s) to a topic. When they get to a topic, the menu as shown displays then, not before.
I would say simply not possible.

Why not make a "Welcome" page to be the destination?

Usually that sort of thing only appears if you look at the help on a very small screen size - does resizing change the way it presents with the frameless output?

Sorry, I don't think I was clear enough, I have a Table of Contents on all of the topics (and when I shrink it down I can see the menu still), but I don't have one on the "Home Screen", the opening screen, the landing page.

Can you post a screenshot of what you want to change?

Absolutely, that will be easier to follow!
So right now, the landing page of our site looks like this:
And what we want, in this area circled, is a hamburger menu that opens the Table of Contents panel:
This is the panel we want to open from that Hamburger menu. It is the Table of Contents that is present in the "Topic View" of all of the topics in Frameless, built in to the left-hand panel.

I don't think you'd have enough room to expand a "more" menu icon to the TOC you show. Why not just put an icon of one there and make it a link to the second screen?

Unfortunately the linked topic is 1/363 screens so it is unlikely that the user would be wanting to navigate to that screen each time.
However, I believe the workaround I'll have to use it to just make a "topic" page my landing page, as opposed to the landing page here that used to have the TOC Tiles on it.
This way, no screen out of the 363 are represented and the topic can welcome our user while also having the TOC on the side, as it is just a "topic".

That's the plan!
I appreciate your help!

Thanks, Peter!
I have come up with another work-around, hopefully the folks at my company like it!
