Can someone please share how one can set up the Help project to open up with the left Navigation pane hidden by default? Thank you.
Which RoboHelp version? I believe Rick's Skinny on Skins has the method for the 'older' WebHelp outputs. Things changed in RH10 and also in RH8. As an additional resource, please see: http://www.wvanweelden.eu/blog/2012/08/03/hide-webhelp-navigation-pane-load

Are you asking about Responsive HTML5 output?

Hi I’m actually asking about WebHelp output. Is there a way to have the left nav pane defaulted closed view? But if the User wants to click on TOC/Search at the top button, it will open?
Thanks for any direction. Unfortunately my work does not allow me to view the links you provided in the previous email.

Hi there
I believe this is covered in my Skinny on Skins file. You might download it and give it a look.
Cheers... Rick

Hi, I tried the edits to script for RH10 that was published on your site, but I'm using RH2015 and it didn't seem to work? Is there something specific for RH2015?
thanks.

Hi I actually published it and reviewed it, and then I could see the correct results! (Previewing did not reflect the update made). Thanks so much! Now I just have to see if I can get the Search field to display at the top bar as default without it opening the left navigation pane. Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback. Good to know that it only works in published output.
